Yeah, I’m an atheist, and personally I think the problem with schools is the prohibition of corporal punishment, but this is some grade A snark right here. Bacon to whoever made it.

Also, if God does not belong in government-run schools, then maybe the correct solution is to remove the government part.

I remember the sign in my class room that said: “In case of a nuclear attack, the ban on prayer in public schools is temporarily suspended.”

No, this is from the British Daily Mail

Revealed: How the U.S. planned to blow up the MOON with a nuclear bomb to win Cold War bragging rights over Soviet Union

I have a buddy that is an a atheist, actually several, they both agree that it would be better to live with those that believe in a higher power, that teaches not to kill than in a hoard that would kill you for a pair of sneakers. But hey, what do they know.

@3 – I’m pretty much in that same group. By and large, I find practicing Christians to be more trustworthy than evangelical atheists.

well duh. Try to imagine coming up with a believable script for a movie where a judge gets to tell a little girl she’s not allowed to pray.

There never has been any way it was constitutional for government to put itself in the position it’s in with public “education”.

Repeal the 17th or quit whining.
