Dead Giveaway

EL CAJON, Calif. – The shoppers lined up at an El Cajon Best Buy more than a week early in anticipation for the stores’ Black Friday sale have been asked to leave the property.

On Wednesday, Rhiannon Buckingham told 10News she lined up because she wanted to make sure she got the best deal.

“Last year, I came on Tuesday and I was 17th in line,” she said. “They only had 15 TVs.”

Me, I’d rather earn money by working all week and just pay full retail.

Then again, I’m not an Obama-voter, either.

Sure you would rather work all week and pay full retail but chances are she doesn’t have a pesky job to interfere with sitting in line for a week and she is being a “good” citizen by making that welfare check go as far as possible by buying large LCD TVs for cheap…you know just like welfare was intended to be used.

In other news, only 15 TVs? What kind of crap prep for Black Friday is that?

  3. Joel says:

Carolyn, that’s the whole idea of Black Friday “deals”. There are only a few of the things available at the advertised price. Once you are in the store, they hope you will buy something else at the regular price

    So, basically, Occupy Best Buy.

It sure was nice of her boss to give her the whole week off, you’d think the brilliant ‘writer’ would have thought to mention him in this fine uplifting story since he’s such a great guy…….

In a sane world, every story like this would result in the welfare hander outers going to her door and arresting her.

But this is not a sane world. It’s Basil’s Bizarro World.

My sister works for social services in a commonwealth which will not be mentioned. She told me that EVERY time she does a “Home Visit”, the first thing she sees is a T.V. bigger and better than what her salary would afford. She may just be on the wrong end of those home visits !

I spent a day working with an electrician in a section 8 hellhole on Beacon Hill, probably 2 blocks from John Kerry’s 2nd wife’s mansion that she bought with her dead husbands money. We were fixing all the things they break. Every one I saw was A: home in the middle of the day B: we woke most of them up C: they all had big tvs and all sorts of other stuff D: the building had a PARKING GARAGE in one of the most expensive areas in Boston to live and it was filled with nice cars. Yeah, being “poor” really sucks.
