Neil Boortz's producer Belinda, told a story of how her Dad, a Pharmacist,
stopped a robbery attempt with that sound.
The suspicious looking guy came in the store near closing time,
and was heading rapidly to the Pharmacy counter at the back of the store.
Belinda's Dad reached under the counter and slid the Credit card imprinter.
It made a sound like a shotgun when a shell is chambered, and the guy turned heel and rushed out.
Here's what it sounds like, but I remember the old ones being much louder.
