So the reverend that gave Obama’s inaugural benediction thinks all white people are going to hell. I hate to suggest this, but if a Republican had as many associations with racists as Obama does, the media might make something of that. Anyway, the important thing to remember is that while Obama hangs with racists and domestic terrorists, that doesn’t mean he shares their views. It just means he’s too much of a moral coward to ever speak about those things unless forced to. I mean, he’s a Chicago politician; we can only imagine how much corruption he’s willingly ignored. And this, as most things, goes back to my small government argument (outlined well in my book of course) that whatever power we give the government will inevitably end up in the hands of amoral scumbags. You’d think even the left would listen to this argument; do they really want all the power they give the government to end up in the hands of Michelle Bachmann — or whatever active politician they’re crazy hating these days? Design a government with as much power as you’re willing to give horrible people, which should be very very little unless you’re a moron. Or a hippie.
