435 elected “elite” is quite enough.

  2. 4of7 says:

If we doubled the number of representatives, but the workload remained the same, then each rep would only have to work half as hard, and therefore would deserve only half the pay and benefits they currently receive. (speaking charitably).
It sounds like an idea worthy to put into the “after the revolution” file for later consideration, right after the ‘who will be first against the wall’ list but before the ‘no whining’ amendment.

  3. zzyzx says:

Who should be first against the wall? All the people who’s religion starts with the letters M or I, not counting Mormons. As well as all the people who’s political philosophy start with the letters C, S, or D.

  4. Rayfan87 says:

I say we go back to one rep for every 30 thousand. It would give us over 10,000 members of the house and total gridlock.

    #4 – Rayfan87,
    I like that idea.
    Bacon for you!
