Clarification of the “clarification”: The only ones who ever said “cuber” were the truly non-Boston Irish Kennedys.
All others in this region voice it as “cyu-bah”.
Along with “babahs” askin’ “djoo wan’ a pot ‘n yah heyah?” (JFK wore his on the left side.)
