Simple Solution to the Illegal Immigration Problem
Senator Rand Paul has called for creating a “path to citizenship” for illegal immigrants.
Um… there’s already a path, it’s “go home and get in the back of the line.”

Yeah, because it should obviously be almost impossible to become a citizen of this country, especially for people who’ve lived here for 20 years.

@1 – Do you mean “lived here” or “lived here illegally”?

Interesting that if you sneak across the border into Mexico you’re put in jail.

Hmmm so if I rob a bank and they don’t catch me for 20 years, it’s ok to rob banks, makes perfect sense…..to an IDIOT!

I will grant that the current immigration system has problems, but the solution is NOT to cater to illegals. They can get in line with everybody else. If they do not respect the laws of this country, I don’t think they’re hot candidates for citizenship. We have plenty of homegrown criminals; we don’t need to allow proven law breakers to get precedence for immigration. My ancestors all came here legally and if they could, so can others (I would note, some of them were fleeing persecution, but they got in line like everybody else).

Just because a player, on either team, walks into the end zone unnoticed..The team is not awarded a touchdown. The point of the game is to get into the end zone….while following all the rules !

I’d chuckle at the complete and total clusterf**k that has been the Republican party for roughly 4 years (yes, including the midterms) but we’re living with the consequences of it and will continue to now for generations to come. Come on, elephants – get your heads out of your butts, stop pandering, and show some spine.
