A lot of gun crimes are committed by drug dealers and by people trying to steal money to buy drugs. So why not attack the problem from that angle? Let’s make it illegal to sell or use cocaine or heroin. We don’t need to pussy-foot around with restrictions and licensing and backgorund checks, just make it flat out illegal for anyone in the country to sell or use cocaine or heroin. That should immediately put all the drug dealers out of business. Then the problem of drug-related gun violence will also disappear.

Enforcement should be simple: Just post signs all over the country that say “This is a drug-free country.”

I can’t see any flaws in this plan, can you?

When kids are real young you can take some of the toys they haven’t played with for months and give them to them again for Christmas or their birthday.
Let’s do that with gun control.
Take the thousands of gun laws already on the books, dust them off, with great fanfare pass them again.
Liberals can then feel good for having done something, but without causing any additional harm.

Here’s a feel-good story for the folks that want to disarm innocent people. Seems this fella kidnapped his ex-girlfriend. The cops put him in jail, but then let him out. So, he went to her house and killed her and two others before killing himself. Good thing she didn’t have a gun or…umm, hey wait…maybe that would have been a good thing.

See, that’s the problem. I’m not seeing many people who are “set” on gun control. The “mainstream” media narrative – meaning the Democrat narrative – is that people are demanding gun control, but the overwhelming sentiment ACTUALLY seems to be that teachers need to be allowed to take courses and get a concealed weapons permit if they so desire, and that we need to do away with the “defenseless victims” zones that liberals ironically label “gun free zones.”

Gun sales have been on an INCREASE, not a decrease, the past four years, jumping again after Obama’s people used massive, uncontested voter fraud…umm, er…I mean, was re-elected.

Then Liberals have have a huge bill then can wave around with thousands of pages and everything will think “great! now mowing down a bunch of people with guns is illegal! YAY!”
