Guaranteed Never to Rise Up and Kill All Humans. Maybe

[High Praise! to 4of7]

While watching this video, try not to think about “Maximum Overdrive”, “Christine”, or “Killdozer”.

Exit question: I know this was done strictly to make the commercial more impressive-looking, but would anyone actually get out of their car before parking it?

I think this would be far more useful for leaving than for parking – at least where I work where morons sometimes park too close for you to open your doors to get in.

  2. Son of Bob says:

Okay, so my smart phone wants to give me directions that will send me four hours in the wrong direction, and the GPS telling me how fast I’m supposedly going is usually wrong, but I can trust it to park my car without hitting the guy next to me…umm, okay.

  3. Jimmy says:

But does it prevent door dings?

  4. Writer says:

    “Good morning, Dave.”

  5. Dohtimes says:

On a 0 to 10 scale of mischief possibilities this starts out at 12, and that’s for a reasonably responsible adult.

  6. 4of7 says:

Ahh… I needed another High Praise! fix.
Thanks for setting a brother up, man. ;)

  7. Bad Science says:

While the video was neat and would rate five stars on its own, the mention of Killdozer smashed it for that FTW.

  8. Harvey says:

@7 – Those 3 movies are 4of7’s list. Although to my own credit, I’ve seen them all.

  9. Byna says:

If a Republic had suggested that women couldn’t park and that they required a computer to park for them, they would be called a racist and the computer would be banned.

…try not to think about “Maximum Overdrive”, “Christine”, or “Killdozer”.

Or that Twilight Zone episode “You Drive.”
