Great observation Frank. People either support liberty for all individuals or they prefer to have choices limited and give control over to the “authority.” Just look what recently happened in VA with AutoZone (They fired a guy after he stopped an armed robber and saved the manager, because he violated a “Zero Tolerance” policy) Asinine.

Police take a course in firearms and can be completely trusted with them as “professionals,” yet a private citizen takes the same course and he’s a menace to society.

Police take a short driving course and can then be completely trusted to drive 90 mph down the highway for the rest of their lives, yet a private citizen driving 60 in a 50 mph zone is a menace to society.

Police are employed to protect our rights, like free speech, yet can arrest you for saying something they don’t like.
