I’m so glad I wasn’t born in some era of history where video games didn’t exist.

As somebody who reached adulthood about the time that video games were developed, I can assure you that live before video games was wonderful. In fact, I’d give just about anything to have the 1950s back.

I am posting this at every blog I visit that is addressing the Sandy Hook tragedy, so I apologize in advance, but it is critical we bring facts to this discussion. It is an emotional topic, and I can understand the gun-haters'emotional outbursts, but we must respond with charity and the facts. Fact #1: Violent crime is down from 2000 to 2009, as is the use of a firearm in commission of a crime. "Firearms were used in about 8% of all violent crime incidents in 2009. During the 10-year period, about 6% to 9% of all violent crime incidents were committed with firearms" Established facts and Christian charity must be our departure point in our search for answers.

So where’s the call to ban all the drugs that make the person who does this sort of thing more likely to do it? Oh wait, if little kids aren’t forced to take hard core addictive, forever mind altering drugs it might be harder to brain wash them into believing the crap their liberal union communist teachers tell them….and we might not ‘elect’ people like Obama. Never mind.

This guys mother is more to blame than any gun ever made.

Did you take [insert anti-depressant] and go on a homicidal rampage? You may be entitled to FREE MONEY!

How about: Did your “parent(s?) force you to take [insert anti-depressant] from the time you were 3 because they were too lazy to raise you? You may go on a homicidal rampage and the media won’t blame you or your parents, just the gun you use. We will represent you for FREE to get you off by saying you’re insane.

According to the CDC – drunk drivers kill more than 10,000 Americans every year.
And, isn’t that already against the law?

Btw, illegals kill 3,000 people each year by driving drunk. They also kill 3,000
to 4,000 as homicides. No wonder the Democrats are calling for such harsh
new restrictions on illegals.

Even though you never hear gun rights supporters screaming “We need a law that will force everyone to own and carry a gun to ensure public safety” you always hear gun control nuts screaming “We need a law that will force everyone to give up their guns for public safety”. That always makes me think it is less about actual safety about control.
