The Best Metaphor for Obama’s Presidency

[High Praise! to Vantage Point of the One-Eyed Jack]

Or maybe the best way to characterize Obama is as a bowel obstruction. The optimal decision he could make is to get out of the way. If he’d only cooperate, and just go with the flow, he’d finally end up where things like him belong. Instead he just stands in the way, intransigently stopping up the works, and causing pain and discomfort for no good reason.

  1. The nation needs the obstruction removed, which will take 4 years for it to work its way through the bowels of government (truer metaphor than Obama as obstruction). It is the electorate that needs the cranial-rectal extraction.
Any quicker movement on the bowel obstruction will be either Kennedy times 1000 or Nixon times 1000. Probably both, considering the batsh!t insanity that passes for reasonable thought and reasoned discourse nowadays.

You put the lime in the coconut, you drink them both together,
put the lime in the cocount, then you’ll feel better.
Put the lime in the coconut, and drink them both up,
Put the lime in the coconut, and call me in the morning.”

  3. Reminds of a joke I heard from my anatomy and physiology professor years (gad! over a decade ago! Snorps, I’m feeling old!) ago. It isn’t suitable for mixed company, though, unless they happen to be nursing students or owners of sick senses of humor.
    jw, priceless! I totally agree.
