Boycott!

Posted on January 30, 2013 9:00 am

The boycott that liberals called on Chick-Fil-A last year certainly made an impact.

The Atlanta food chain released figures at the request of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution — the chain is private and doesn’t have to release numbers — and here’s what they showed: sales were up 14% to $4.6-billion, and the company opened 96 new stores.

Now, to be sure, the AJC is taking the approach that all this good financial news happened despite the boycott. The AJC is a liberal paper — not as liberal as some, but way too liberal for my tastes — and spins stories to their point of view.

Still, sales up 14%? 96 new stores providing hundreds of new jobs?

I wish someone would boycott me.

Gun companies seem to be suffering the same sort of boycott lately.

This is obviously a brilliant new leftist tactic – pick a company or product you hate and encourage people to buy so much of it that the employees work themselves to death trying to keep up with the increasing demand. Genius!

Alinsky Tictac — a little minty reward you get when liberas’ attempt to fire back backfires.

I wish th deemocrats would boycott the economy the same way they boycotted Chik-Fil-A.

Make calm, reasonable statements questioning the validity of homosexuality and you should provoke a vicious backlash and boycotts in no time.

Penetrating analysis from the AJC. So, how’s the newspaper biz?

I love how libs report the company is growing “despite uproar” when, in reality, they’re growing because of it.

Me too. I’m also supporting Volkswagon and Taco Bell (even though they bowed to pressure and pulled their ad). Anyone else libs would like to boycott? I’m looking for some new companies to invest in. I think we might move some of the pittance we have left in our IRA to shares of Smith and Wesson.

Oh and Les the newspaper business sucks, just ask the thousands of laid off newspaper workers. They keep the most liberal and get rid of the rest. Makes for a more homogenous news room, no diversity of thought allowed, move along, nothing to see here.
