What we need is a Clause in Feinstein’s Gun Control Bill stating that none of its Previous Clauses can take effect until an Independent Counsel has fully investigated Fast and Furious and issued indictments.

What a well written discussion of the facts, not the hype. This essay should be mandatory reading for anyone who wishes to discuss the issue of gun control…or any other mandatory govenment program. Thank you for the link Frank. I assure you, I never would have gone to Newsweek on my own.

Small ball is all they know and all they need. You turn on the morning news and, aside from maybe a fire and a holdup, it’s a litany of what they’re up to: future Dem voters (illegal immigrants), gay marriage, how great the president is, what great green technology is coming our way (that never seems to live up to any promise), gun control…the termites are always chewing at the house.

Socialism: Never have so many devoted so much for something so lousy.

As the founders stated in the Declaration of Independence, we derive our rights from God (stated as the Creator). Government does not exist to grant those rights, but rather to secure them. Since the government does not grant our “unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”, it has no authority to take them away.
