Cambridge —

Police intervened in an attack as a Cambridge man “viciously” beat a Natick man unconscious, according to police reports.

Officers Peter Vellucci and M. Donahue were on patrol in Central Square at around 2:10 a.m. on Dec. 23 when they reportedly saw a man laying unconscious on the ground while two males “violently” kicked him in the head. Police saw one man, later identified as Junior Nash, 26, 83 Auburn Park in Cambridge, kick the victim several times before running when officers arrived at the scene.

A witness showed police a video of the incident depicting the victim, a 29-year-old Natick man talking with Nash at the corner of Mass. Ave. and Pearl Street. Nash reportedly walked away, talking on his cell phone when the victim pushed him from behind. A second unidentified man reportedly pushed the victim to the ground while Nash regained his footing and the two proceeded to kick the man until he was unconscious.

The man was transported to an area hospital. Police recovered a knife from Nash and charged him with assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (to wit: a shod foot), carrying a dangerous weapon (to wit: knife), and disturbing the peace.

*CRAZY CONSPIRACY TIME*

What if, stick with me for a minute, Obama actually DOES support the 2nd Amendment. He loves it so much that he has spent his whole life pretending to hate it, so that one day when he becomes President, EVERYONE will freak out and buy a bajillion guns! He just lucked out and it happens to be happening during a bad economy and giving gun manufacturers a massive boost.

He is sitting in his office right now, secretly overjoyed that so many more people are now armed and protected because of his actions.

Behind every politician making laws to control gun ownership are a bunch of guys with guns to enforce them. Dean Wormer would tell them that fearful, ignorant and full of hate is no way to go through a reading of the Constitution.

I propose the Barney Fife Law: all crazy people have to carry their bullets in their shirt pockets. We can judge how dangerous they will be based on the side of the shirt pockets and take steps.
