I still give Jeter points for the class he showed to Johnny Peskey – and to the family of Sandy Hook Elementary School teacher Victoria Soto (When he heard that her cousin mentioned in the eulogy that she was a Yankees fan and Derrick Jeter was her favorite player, he called the family and spoke with them-and was not happy that it got out to the press that he had.) As a member of Red Sox Nation, I do think that he is the ONLY class act in The Evil Empire. A-Rod, on the other side, does his best work when he is in the stands being fed popcorn by his “Babe who has the most paparazzi following them this Week.”

Well, not even one day and I’ve blown 1 of Basil’s resolutions ! The other 9 should be even easier !!
