I think it is cool, but I don’t think I could bring myself to shove an American flag over a fire and under greasey food. Due to my Boy Scout upbringing during the ’60′s, my respect for the flag is irrevocably susperstitious that way. Look: At work they got us some coasters that have American flags on them; I’ve never been comfortable with setting a drink on one. And, yeah, I know such things aren’t real flags, but in my mind they’re still representations of one.
