President Obama emailed supporters to encourage them to attend his inauguration.
You’d think most of them would show up, since standing around doing nothing useful is what Obama supporters do best.

And you would think there’d be lots of celebrities at the balls, since standing around and doing nothing productive and drinking while wearing fancy outfits is what celebrities do best.

I am guessing that it would be rather awkward to have a televised inaugural parade through empty streets. Hard to zoom in, like C-Span, to hide the fact that nobody is there to watch.

The “occupy” mob should be available….not like they all went out and got jobs or anything….and most have a smartphone (Obamaphone or mommy and daddy provided) so they can get the email.

Tell them there will be free booze at the White house, maybe they can have a replay of the Jackson inaugeral of 1829.
