Bipartisanship Will Ruin Our Country

I have a new PJ Media column on how the only thing saving us is that the two parties don’t get along.

Close your eyes for a moment and imagine Republicans and Democrats getting along. They’d smile and laugh at each other’s jokes and pat each other on the back, and maybe John Boehner would make out with Nancy Pelosi… and then both parties would disappear into a back room to decide how to spend our money and what new government powers they should have. What a nightmare! We’d be completely defenseless.

Read! Enjoy!

  1. Tri-partisanship Will Ruin Our Country too!

    * Tri-partisanship – Cooperation between three competing political parties; governing in a tripartisan manner.

For instance if they legalized Heroin (for the Libertarians) and taxes collected from the sale of legalized heroin didn’t off set the skyrocketing costs caused by an epidemic of heroin addictions and the crime associated with addiction, well that would be just f-ing stupid. Here is a case where libertarian freedom becomes slavery.

And then there are the Tea people (libertarians) who want to Box Car all the Mexicans and ship em back even if they have lived here for 30 years. I’m against Illegal immigration too but rounding them up like Hitler did to the Jews is not answer. Ayn Randist philosophy has had a horribly negative impact on the Tea People.

And I don’t see the Republicans co-operating with the left the way Glenn Beck describes it when he says there is NO DIFFERENCE between Democrats and Republicans. That is just a bunch of Libertarian bull crap. Its just a bunch of lies. If anything there is no difference between the Libertarians and the Liberals on drugs, prostitution, perversion, immorality, ect..

The thing that is ruining America are the divisions inside the Republican Party caused by the Tea People and the Libertarians.

  2. Carpenter, I was going to comment at length about your comment.

But I’ve reduced it down to this: Maybe the divisions inside the Republican party caused (if you say so) by the Tea People and the Libertarians needed to happen.

The Republican Party, as it stands now, is a fraud.

  3. I think the reason we are so truly screwed is that this is what actually does happen. The devisiveness is just an act to make us believe there may be a way out. So this joke is on us. And remember, if voting would change anything, they would outlaw it.
