Despite the statistical correlation between increased legal gun ownership and declining crime rates, and the truth that the only thing that can stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun, Obama and company insist that more guns is not the answer. They insist on pressing an agenda that will only make it more difficult for law abiding citizens to defend themselves and their families. They even admit that their plan will do nothing to prevent future tragedies such as Sandy Hook but “we have to do something.” Meanwhile when faced with record debt and deficit levels that threaten to drive us into a worse economic collapse than that faced by Greece and the rest of Europe what do they say is the answer? More spending.

After reading Frank’s first Random Thought on the post below this one I appologize for ruining the internet for everyone with my comment above.

  3. Jimmy says:

Yeah, Marc, you’ve managed to ruin the WHOLE Internet for me!

I’m just fine with Homeland Security’s 1.6 billion bullets.

Spend spend spend spend… spend on spending… spend on bullets!

And now, the idiot Republicans in the Senate are considering handing that spending power to Obama since they don’t want to deal with it.

    We are so f’k’d.

Shouldn’t the line in the third panel be, “What does it matter?” ?

  5. Oppo says:

I Oppologize for ruining the internet for everyone with my comments on two previous Harvey threads. I meant to agree wholeheartedly with the premises of his jokes, not to detract from them.

  6. CTCompromise says:

    I apologize..only because Obama has shown me that it’s the right thing to do. {CTC bows}

  7. Veeshir says:

I hate to rag on Ramirez two cartoons in a row but……

I defy you to find a newspaper (that Obama would read) that would have actually had those first, three, above the fold, headlines.

    The first headline for instance,
NY Times headline that day: “Republicans thwart President Obama’s plan to balance the budget!!!!!!”
Wash Post: “Mitt Romney’s maid may not have paid taxes in 1975 when she worked at KFC!!!!”
Boston Globe:”Republicans in Mass Senate vow to exist!”

  8. kolimisteenus says:

Why users still make use of to read news papers

  9. Basil says:
