DC’s Ray’s Hell-Burger, famously visited by President Obama in 2009, has now gone out of business.

We should have Obama visit North Korea.

The True Believers will point to this as a sign that Michelle has convinced Americans to eat healthier food.

well Obama would be a damned useful “Ides of March” practice dummy for the Senate. And maybe a Statue in Stalingrad.

Could he visit with the Senate, cause we need to shut that down too.

In fairness, both Ray’s and Ray’s Too (same strip mall closed). However, when I drove past there the other night across the street there was a sign for Ray’s Three coming soon so they may have just moved and consolidated. Given how crowded they always were, I would be surprised that they closed because of bad business. Plus, Arlington is filled with government workers, business was more likely to go up for Obama rather than down.

@10 – As I understand it, it was an issue with the lease, rather than the business’s viability. I’ll cop to taking some artistic license with this one.
