“The state motto of South Carolina is “Aminis Opibusque Parati”, which means “any excuse to shoot a Yankee”.” Isn’t being a Yankee reason enough? Don’t need an excuse. That’s like saying “any excuse to punch a hippy”; their mere being a hippy is sufficient reason to start punching. If they’re a hippy from Yankeeland, it’s even better: you get to punch them, then shoot them.

“The first battle of the Civil War took place at Fort Sumter. Historians theorize that it started as an innocent Mac vs. PC argument which spun tragically out of control.” Not so, Harvey. It was an arguement between two groups, one of which thought Lite Beer from Miller tasted great, and another group that thought it was less filling. Neither group was willing to compromise.

And, Ted Kennedy was very much snake like (my apologies to snakes) and ancient, possibly prehistoric. Are you sure the old bastich is dead this time?

Actually, Andrew Jackson was born in North Carolina, albeit close to South Carolina; it's an honest mistake. He was residing in Tennessee when he was elected President.
