ObamaTrain: Island-Style!

Posted on February 24, 2013 8:00 pm

The latest $2 billion DOT project in Hawaii: a 20-mile train circuit on an island that’s 30 miles wide.

Even stranger, they’re having the Professor build it out of coconuts.

    the Professor?
Why him? I mean this sounds like a job for Gilligan or maybe the Skipper.

I don’t know how many people would use this train but $2B could buy over 133,700 Honda scooters with enough gas to drive that circuit every day for 10 YEARS!!!

2 billion? Maybe they can get aloha bid.

It’s going to be “high speed”, right? That seems to be what makes it cool and efficient and governmenty, not just any old rail, HIGH SPEED Rail!!!1!1!!!!. So it will make the whole 20 miles in like 5 minutes as long as it never needs to stop, which it won’t since it will be empty. What a great idea!!

West meets further-west on Our Leader’s Intercontinental Railroad.

Obama will send Kerry to drive the final spike.

    “a 20-mile train circuit on an island that’s 30 miles wide” — doesn’t sound like it’s coast-effective.

He promised Moochelle he would tie a train on her when they left D.C. . . .
