Random Thoughts: Moderates, Ron Paul, and Running for Senate

If only winning elections achieved something worthwhile by itself, this would be an easier game.

My main problems with moderate in the GOP is their plan seems like this –
Phase 1: Nominate moderates.
Phase 2: Get elected.
Phase 3: ??

If there is anyone out there who doesn’t find Obama claiming he goes skeet shooting “all the time” hilarious, then I pity you.

I agree with a lot of Ron Paul’s economic views, but I stay away from him because I’m afraid being a crank is contagious.

This skeet shooting stuff is getting ridiculous. Why doesn’t Obama just admit he’s a sissy who is scared of guns so we can all move on.

If no one ends up wanting to run for the MA senate seat on the GOP side, I’ll do it. Wait; would I have to live in Massachusetts?

If I became a Senator, do I really need to go to D.C. to do the voting? Seems like really simple thing I could telecommute to do.

It seemed lazy for Obama to vote present so much as a legislator, but staying home and voting “not present” would have been even lazier.

  1. We would be much better off if the senate just went on junkets and stayed home to party.

If only someone would write a book about How to Fix Everything in America Forever, we could just let the senate satay home.

Probably, but probably not for very long. If memory serves, Bobby Kennedy wasn’t even registered as a voter in New York when he was elected
    senator from New York.
