I had lots and lots of cowboy stuff and we even got to ride horses every week or so, with friends and relatives still living on small farms and orchards.

It was nothing to see an old farm horse with three or four eight year olds on his back, sometimes fewer “big” kids with little brothers and sisters in the middle.
