But if you look at it as an action movie game with some horror elements it’s not bad.

Plus your computer controlled teammates are basically immortal, meaning you don’t have to worry about getting a game over just because zombies ate your partner while you were busy being awesome. All the story and dialogue potential of an escort mission without the frustration of resetting every time the president’s daughter wanders into danger.
