Probably Keeps This List Right Next to the Border Fence

Posted on March 1, 2013 4:00 pm

The Mexican government is asking the US government to hand over a list of all guns owned by residents in Border States.

Really? What the heck makes them think that the Obama administration can keep track of guns?

How about the mexicans send a list of ALL their nationals that are illegal in the US.
    Fair trade your think?

  2. Oppo says:

Um, yeah, we’ll get right on that, Mexico…..

  3. Oppo says:

… (on the other hand, it would scare the crap out of them!)

It would appear that Mexico wants to prevent US guns from entering their country. I say we help them… by securing our southern border.

Maybe we should insist on a list of mexican nationals living in the US illegally and sending money back to Mexico.

So now we’re moving from making our citizens more vulnerable to gun seizure by our own government to making our citizens more vulnerable to gun seizure by hostile foreign governments (or more vulnerable to targeting for burglary/assassination by hostile foreign nationals loyal to drug cartels and operating freely within our borders). At the very least, this tips off the cartels to the least heavily armed areas of the border states, i.e., safe havens for the cartels to move in and take over. (And anyone who doesn’t think information in the hands of the Mexican government won’t be in the hands of the drug lords in less time than it takes to say “widespread corruption” is too stupid to live, or is an Obama voter (redundant, I know).) This is why we never should have allowed gun registration of any kind, for any reason, in the first place. Surely that right to privacy lurking in the Constitution’s penumbra extends to privacy in the exercise of rights that are, you know, expressly mentioned in the Constitution.

Why, oh why can’t we have a President who has the stones to respond to this request with “That’s none of your f#cking business, and I have instructed our ambassador to kick your ambassador in the nuts simply because you asked. Next time we will send an unmanned drone to express our displeasure.”

I think it’s cute how Mexico keeps trying to act like it’s a real country.

Since half the people in border states are Mexicans, shouldn’t they already know about theirs? I think what they mean is a list of Americans with guns, why don’t they just ask the local Pravda, they probably already have the list. Will it be included with their instructions on how to get welfare and free everything else?

Sorry, Mexico – sequester kicked in today. We can’t even afford to keep your criminals in our jails :-(

  11. Jimmy says:

I don’t think people in Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, and Kansas want to give out that information!

  12. Manolo says:

The first name on the list is “G.O. Fockyerself.”

  13. CarolyntheMommy says:

There’s no way Obama would do this, right? I mean, the only thing more ridiculous would be granting Mexico’s President the floor before joint Congress to yell at them about a bill called AZ1070. Like that would ever happen.

  14. Oppo says:

“Well, a few at the Alamo, but you probably already know about them.”

  15. seanmahair says:

Mexico has yet to learn it’s not the citizens they have to worry about. That would be the federal government funneling guns into Mexico. Maybe they should ask for a list of obamas cabal instead…..wait a minute they already have that. Kabuki theater at it’s best or are they on the payroll?
