I was a sub in a class today and I always allow them to talk (quietly) so long as they’re doing whatever make-work the teacher has them do when there’s a sub.
So today they were bashing the First Worf and one of the girls said, “Have you noticed that in her anti-obesity commercials on Nickleodeon she keeps getting fatter?”
I had to leave the class as I don’t discuss politics (or religion) and me laughing my butt off could have been taken as a political comment.

#3 – Veeshir,
the ones they had with them in the classroom, or the ones they keep at home?

I hope it was the ones they had on them because the adults will do f@#$ all to protect them. Gun Free Zones are just about the worst idea I’ve heard of.

@3 thanks. i don’t know why it makes a difference to me, but it does. sounds fun. not something i usually think about 9th graders. do you get combat pay?

They didn’t have guns on them, they were the type of people who like guns.
Geez, take a feel-good story and turn it into something stupid.

Veeshir, your story is quite funny. It also gives us hope for the future. If these 9th grade girls could tell what a lard-butt (notice the self-controll used to keep the coment PG-13, Harvey?) lying hypocrite that the First Clydesdale is, then maybe they have the critical thinking skills necessary so they won’t buy into any of the other lies Il Douche, or his Party spouts.
