“Yeah, ‘Shazaam’ used to be a nice word to describe transforming from your alter-ego into a superhero, but then the groovies went and ruined it for everyone.”

Remember Cloward and Piven, the left wing pukes who suggested that overwhelming the system and making it crash would open the way for a Socialist takeover to “fix” everything when the people got all freaked out by the general breakdown?
Why is it they think that the Socialists would be the ones to win that final arm wrestle?
Why not the people with the actual good ideas and all the guns?

I’ve lived fifty years in this world. I’ve seen a number of those people get their “opportunity.” Do you know what happens? They continue whining, sometimes finding the most transparent excuses for why they “can’t.”
Whining is a WHOLE lot easier than trying, and in our society it comes with its own crown of victimhood. Pah. And bah.
Don’t let these people get you down. They’re all wanna be Evita Perons, unable to be happy until everyone else is in the muck.
Pity them a little, if you’re a good person. Then run ahead and forget them.
The best way to live is to do what you can, work towards what you can’t (yet) and never try to pull others down to your level.
This notion that’s peddled by the religious right – that they are oppressed is not true. Sometimes it’s a cynical ploy to move their agenda ahead. The classic example being that somehow secularists are trying to eliminate Christmas, which strikes me as some kind of manufactured controversy.
BARACK OBAMA, Street Prophets interview, Jul. 11, 2006
“That’s why I’m creating special ‘Winter Celebration Day’ camps so the religious right can safely indulge in their quaint rituals behind the protective safety of barbed wire, watched over by towers full of supportive, well-armed government agents.”
So Obama is still going on about gun control. I thought he was just pushing it for a while to rally the base, but maybe he is really really stupid and actually believes in this. Still, he keeps using the same tired lines so I don’t know how he expects that to move things. Said Obama, “What’s more important to you: Our children or an ‘A’ grade from the gun lobby?” Yes, because it’s either Obama’s completely useless gun control that wouldn’t have done anything to stop Newtown or death to children.
The Republicans just need to take Obama aside and tell him, “Shut up, you idiot. You lost on this issue. Lost. Clock has expired. It’s over. You think you’re winning just because you’re the only one on the field still trying to play because everyone else has left to the victory ceremony. No one cares about your stupid gun control anymore and only a dwindling number of really dumb people think it will actually achieve anything. We know you hate freedom, Obama, but your just going to have to find a different one to attack. Here, have a cookie.”
Omit that last part if you don’t have a cookie to give him; teasing him with a cookie would just be mean.
Works like this: I feed you Moon Nukers a straight line, and you hit me with a punch line in the comments.
Joe Biden said we should “create a new world order” because…
The reason the right does so well on talk radio but the left is nearly non-existent there is because in that medium you state your views unfiltered with no worry about being political, and when the left do that, they scare even themselves.
Still, that seems to be MSNBC’s new advertising strategy. Just look at this ad where they have one of their hosts talking about how parents shouldn’t be the one making decisions for their children and instead it should be done by the Borg collective (yes, she actually used the term “collective”).
Isn’t this the choice the left usually give, though? You can either have decision making power in the hands of the people who care the most, i.e., the people making decisions for themselves and their families, or in the hands of those who just really like to pretend to care like government officials and Melissa Harris-Perry (man, I just have trouble taking hyphen names seriously). They love to act like they care about individuals, but they really just sorta care about this amorphous blob called “society” they love to play with like its Play-Doh, molding it to different shapes with no worries about how that affect the individual. A parent cares that her child is in a failing school now and wants a solution now, while pro-government people are too concerned with “society” to worry about the individual. If we help that one kid now with a voucher, why that could hurt public school and “society”! Thus the kid is condemned to a failing school while government official fiddle around tweaking things because that’s supposed to be better for everyone. These aren’t the actions closer to a sociopath than someone who cares about your kid.
It’s like if the left were more honest — talk radio honest — with their views, they’d tell a woman worried about rape that, “Yeah, you might get raped if we disarm you, but while you’re being raped, just think of how better society is with less guns in it!” It’s what the left obviously believes from their actions, but — outside of MSNBC — they usually have enough shame not to say such things.
Anyway, the point is, decision power needs to be the individual making decisions for himself, because he’s the one who actually cares and doesn’t treat this all as some game with each individual just a pawn. The people who actually care making the important decisions is freedom, and it’s the antithesis of the left’s collective.

If you did, you should probably email him about becoming a guest blogger there.
If you didn’t, he’s got another straight line for you to practice on.
Keep trying. No one likes a quitter.
I’m 33; don’t remember much about Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. All I know is whiny people seemed to despise her.
Remember when Time Magazine named Mikhail Gorbachev “Man of the Decade”? Did that even makes sense at the time?
Margaret Thatcher sure upset a lot of awful people.
Abraham Lincoln wouldn’t win a GOP primary today because he’d be far too racist.
Not sure what to think of the song “Accidental Racist” since I’m not really big on country or rap but I love racism.
If you’re still taking Obama seriously at this juncture, you’re very gullible.
A Molotov cocktail isn’t actually a true cocktail unless you add bitters.
Lego is ending production of the Star Wars toy set following complaints that Jabba the Hut’s palace looked like a mosque and was anti-Muslim.
Must be upset that it doesn’t come with a toy suicide bomber.
