  3. Carpenter says:

    God hates Libertarians!

Did GOD punish the ancient pagan tribes for sacrificing babies and worshiping pieces of wood? Did GOD punish the pagans for their Idolatry? Or for their greed?
    No! Not directly.

But GOD did punish the Israelites for adopting the Pagan practices and for Israel’s idolatry. Once the Israelites turned from GOD they were placed under divine judgement. The hand of restraining Grace was lifted and they were able to be a depraved and wicked as they wanted to be. Israel had one evil King after another because they deserved it. Once Israel had “liberated” itself from the Laws of God and they were punished. Apostasy is a very serious sin.

You see that’s were we are today. The United States of Apostasy and libertarianism is the cause of the curse we are under.

I mean that when marginally part time American Christians turned to Ayn Rand, to Ron Paul, to Glenn Beck and the Tea party for salvation, at that moment, America was placed under divine judgement. And that judgement is Obama.

Hussien Obama is a punishment from God. And not specifically for abortion or Dem-Commie Liberalism. Obama is a punishment for worshipping at the Alter of Libertarianism. GOD is using Obama’s incompetence to punish the Tea Party and the Libertarians who worship FREEDOM, the Founders, the Founding of America, Gold and Ayn Rand.

    Idolatry is no laughing matter.

“you G damned ^^^#@ing thieves! You Libertarians truly are the scum of the earth” #ShorterCarpenter

  5. Dodsfall says:

Sooooo… desiring freedom is a bad thing? Man, I am so confused. Another side effect from having a libertarian bent I guess.

I suppose I’ll just deal with it.

  6. AR says:

I’m starting to get the feeling that Carpenter doesn’t care much for libertarianism.

  7. Harvey says:

@6 I’m starting to get the feeling that Carpenter is not IMAO’s target audience.

Can’t help but wonder if he’d be happier dumping his boring, whiny, wet-blanket screeds somewhere else where they’d be appreciated – like Kos, or HuffPo…

  8. Les says:

Yes, liberals, libertines, libertarians, literalists, bilateralists, Beliebers; siblings of Belial, all.

  9. Harvey says:

@8 – You forgot librarians, Liberians, libelers, Libras, librettists, and, of course, the libidinous.

  10. AR says:

Linguists! They’re the true devil’s spawn!

  11. Les says:

Not to mention alliterationalists and consonancialists. Truly those traitorous thieves will sell us all to hell.

  12. Oppo says:

Happy Sunday! Carpenter goes all Old Testament and stuff.

Maybe God hates people who decree whom he hates.

  13. Bunkerhillbilly says:

Maybe Laotians, Laplanders and those born under the sign of Leo are also subject to the divine wrath of Carpenter. Not to mention Lend-Lease veterans, lettercarriers, and residents of Liechtenstein.

  14. Bunkerhillbilly says:

Also at risk of wrath might be lottery losers, lager-drinkers, the loquacious, limerick-reciters, Harold Lloyd, and Robert Loggia.

  15. Bunkerhillbilly says:

Upon further reflection, Carpenter may also have difficulties with the laconic, those who use lariats, and lighthouse-keepers…as well as Jerry Lee Lewis, Led Zeppelin, Little Feat, and John Lennon. Gary Lewis and the Playboys are probably safe at this point. Gordon Lightfoot may be on the bubble.

  16. Carpenter says:

Laugh and snicker all you want. It still doesn’t change the FACT that Libertarianism is the tool of the Devil and that the Tea Party is made up of at least 50% Libertarians.

That means that the Tea People have (accidentally)made a pact with Satan or at least they are willing to overlook his satanic Libertarian servants for lower taxes.

Selling your soul to the Devil for lower taxes is no laughing matter.

  17. Harvey says:

@16 – True, but your hare-brained rantings are.

Seriously, why don’t you take them elsewhere?

  18. Bunkerhillbilly says:

Selling your soul to the Devil for lower taxes is no laughing matter.

So Gordon Lightfoot is out, right?

    Oh…what about G. Gordon LIDDY?

Carpenter, do you think that perhaps it was G. Gordon Lightfoot that oversaw the Watergate op and Liddy that sang about The Edmund Fitzgerald?

  19. Bunkerhillbilly says:

The Tea People have (accidentally)made a pact with Satan

That explains so much about the Brit Royals..from Henry VIII onward. Not to mention the ears and overbite of Prince Charles.

But if it was “accidental” then who was the pact supposed to be made with in the first place? The King of France?

  20. Oppo says:

    “. . . to punish the Tea Party and the Libertarians who worship FREEDOM, . . . Gold . . .”

Heh. Like, you know, wanting to keep hold of one’s pension and Social Security.

  21. Harvey says:

@3 – “Ayn Rand, to Ron Paul, to Glenn Beck and the Tea party”

Say… wasn’t that the original line-up for The Mamas and the Papas?

  22. Oppo says:

You may be thinking of Ron Paul, George and Ringo.

  23. Bunkerhillbilly says:

wasn’t that the original line-up for The Mamas and the Papas?

No, you’re thinking of Kukla, Fran and Ron Paulie.

Kukla was the tall hippie guitarist in that group who tried to sleep with one of his kids after taking too much acid.[Irony trivia: hippie dude, after writing a song about Mondays, wound up dying on a Sunday. Guess he couldn't trust that day.]
