Boys In Afghanistan Glad They’re Not in Compton

Rapper Kanye West said that performing on stage is “like being in a war or something”.

So… he constantly worries that his local security force is going to open fire on him?

Kanye has no idea what war is! Now, dealing with people who say “happy holidays” instead of “Merry Christmas” – THAT’S a war!

    Nice retort!

Listening to Kanye West complain is like listening to an idiot or something.

… and, in case you didn’t see it, Donnie (or Mark) Wahlberg (too lazy to Google it) recently had to smack down Tom Cruise for comparing an actor’s life to a soldier’s life.

    Evil does walk among us.

Give him a break. He’s still trying to figure out why people call him a gay fish.

Then again, unless that guy fighting the war has a lisp he ain’t gonna come up with as many words that rhyme with death as Kanye can. Going onstage is to war as turning a book page to see a picture of the flag raising on Mount Suribachi is to having fought in the battle to gain the ground. Unless you are a pudgy, panty-wasted self important prick with a Jesus complex.

C’mon people, Tom Cruise has years of cinematic military experience…from when he was a military school cadet in “Taps”, through “Born On The Fourth of July”, “Top Gun” and “A Few Good Men”…not to mention his elevated rank within the Scientology organization…Cruise’s life is very much akin to that of a military man–if you happen to be Joseph Hooker and are accompanied by a retinue of fawning campfollowers.

Thanks, jw. Keeping this website accurate.

You know how a while ago a few Republicans said some (at best) very poorly expressed things about rape that got them attacked, then various people said Republicans just need to stop talking about rape?

It’s clear by this point that leftist celebrities need to stop saying anything about actual soldiers.

can anyone explain to me why i’m supposed to care about anything Kanye West says? just curious.

Yes…you must care about everything Kanye West says because he is a successful person of color and to ignore this person’s flatulent pontifications is to be blatantly racist.

(And we can’t have that, now can we?)
