    In practice, that’s backwards. Big businesses are generally better able to cope with regulation and grow even stronger in the anti-competitive environment that keeps potential rivals from innovating and blowing them out of the water.

  2. @4 – Yes & no. It’s usually the small businesses that accidentally grow large enough to pass the “government is gonna hammer you” threshold that suffer the most.

    Even so, I wouldn’t even wish these regs on Starbucks, Apple, or even Ben & Jerry’s.

    Well… maybe Ben & Jerry’s…
