Anonymiss of Nuking Politics is having a… rough day…

Prayers would be appreciated.

If you do offer one, say something in the comments, please.

  1. I’ve probably sent about half a dozen so far today, myself.

I assume it’s not possible to overdose. Feel free to do multiples.

  2. May the Jehovah Shalom grant peace and healing through the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son. Whatever the need, He is more than able to meet it.

  4. May Heavenly Father grant you the strength you need to make it through, a soft shoulder for comfort and the love and support of family and friends to bring you aid when you need it. In the sacred name of Jesus Christ, things will get better for you. It’s a promise.

  5. Dear God, please help Anonymiss get better soon, so she can get back to baking cookies. And maybe judging Straight Lines. Amen.

  6. Anony, May a small portion of the joy and cheer that you have so selflessly bestowed upon us bounce back today to bring you comfort and strength. I have discussed this with my Lord, and I believe He agrees you have earned at least this. (by the way…He’s OK with you being so ‘Judgy’)

  8. Ooooh, offering prayers for others is something we RCs have got down cold. A Spiritual Bouquet is comin’ your way. How about a Novena, a Rosary, and some candles? Seriously, and sincerely, prayers are being offered. Be well, and if you can’t be well, be comforted.

  9. Jesus said “Blessed are the cookiemakers for they shall be called children of God.” Or something very similar.

Praying for the best for you.

  10. God, Grant me the Senility
to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones that I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.
    Amen

  11. Is it too early to ask for an update? Or further details on what happened? Inquiring – and supportive – minds want to know.

  12. May the Blessing of Moses bring you comfort in troubled times.

“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.”

  13. Prayers, certainly. (Let’s hope it isn’t a snow-covered driveway-related incident.)

    Please keep us informed.

  14. Basil said his friend requested prayers, so I’m lifting a prayer for Anonymiss. Blessings…

  15. I am overcome.

Yesterday went so much better because of you and your prayers.

I am so sorry that these days I am not around here as regularly as I’d like. I live with the hope that someday this struggle will be over.

In the meantime, I thank God for sweet people like you who ease my burdens with their kindness and concern.

Every time I read one of the comments you left, I felt just like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5I51C-U8Og

I don’t know how to thank you. 🙂

  16. Anonymiss, I didn’t write mine down ’cause I’m not that good at doing that, but even though we know God hears our prayers it’s nice to know when the one we pray for hears them also. Take care of yourself, and take care of those you love first and foremost.

  17. Anonymiss – we’re all anonymous here, getting to know each other a little bit through sarcasm and political humor – but there’s only one Miss Anony that we care about. Win your struggle and have a wonderful life where you live your bliss. Take it from an “old guy,” it’s the only way to go.

  18. “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
    Philippians 4:6-7

Sorry I didn’t comment sooner, but these verses have kept me going for some time now.
I hope they help Anonymiss as well.
