The Obamacare of Cycling Accessories (Metaphorically Speaking)

[High Praise! to Dude! I Want That]

America needs Obamacare like a bicycle needs a banana.

By the way – your mom called and said she’s only nagging you about getting a banana for your bicycle because she cares.

    I prefer a Motopecan.

I used to have a banana seat on my Schwinn Stingray – does that count, or do I need a waiver?

I can’t agree with your analogy. Bicyclists have legitimate uses for bananas — they’re great for refueling on the road. A banana will help you get to your destination, not make it harder to get there. As such, a banana is WAY more useful on a bicycle than Obamacare is. (Unless of course there’s some effect I don’t know about where adequate dietary potassium causes severe leg cramps or something)

But how safe is that banana? There’s important research on food saftey for bicyclists , y’know. (Jump to about 06:55, through 8:39)
