  1. I liked the little T-shaped toggles that kept the marbles from going down the same path every time.
    Now if they could have rigged little bells to it at different points, they might have been able to play a tune!
    Oh wait, that’s called a music box!
    It’s still cool though!

  2. Meaning no offense, I’m not sure which is worse – the time wasted playing with the thing or the time wasted creating it. Or possibly the time wasted commenting on it. It is sort of a low tech Rube Goldberg device.

  3. @3 Doug – no offense taken. For me, though, I find the contemplation of an elegant yet simple mechanical device to be time well-spent, in small doses. I enjoy admiring other people’s creativity.
