NOT Weak?

Posted on June 13, 2014 8:00 am

During a speech at West Point, President Obama said that the US must lead the world by example: “if we don’t, no one else will”.

No, they will… just not by the example of human liberty.

Obama isn’t on speaking terms with human liberty.

I think his recent actions are pointing to one of two conclusions – either he’s a completely incompetent idiot, in way over his head or he hates this country and is deliberately trying to destroy it.

@2 blarg – If that dichotomy only came up once in a while, I’d choose the former, but since it’s come up dozens of times since he took office, I’m now leaning toward the latter.

    @ Harvey

I never doubted my belief that it was the latter, but people keep calling me a racist (including my own father).

…but I know that can’t be true – some of my best friends are racists.

    “lead by example…”

And what example would that be, Mr. President? Constantly acting like a lying, double-crosser? It is your legacy.

  6. pbunyan says:

Well, in all fairness, the US has not lead by the example of human liberty since January 20, 2008.

  7. pbunyan says:

    @#2 Blarg– actually it’s both.

Seems like I heard some other guy say something like that, ‘cept it was on another matter and he seemed to mean it.

A dynamic economy, with more citizens working and paying taxes, will be our strongest tool to bring down budget deficits. But an almost unbroken 50 years of deficit spending has finally brought us to a time of reckoning. We have come to a turning point, a moment for hard decisions. I have asked the Cabinet and my staff a question, and now I put the same question to all of you: If not us, who? And if not now, when? It must be done by all of us going forward with a program aimed at reaching a balanced budget. We can then begin reducing the national debt.

@4 blarg: Are you considered a racist if you only despise Obama’s white half?
