    I recall reading an article several years ago about the FBI investigating their own forensic labs. Of the 39 cases they “audited”, 4 were found to have manufactured (totally fake) evidence. When an agency “audits” themselves, and ADMITS to a 10%+ fraud rate, you really have to wonder how much higher the actual fraud rate is.
