Seems Fair

The DoJ is suing the Pennsylvania State Police for requiring both men and women applying for entry-level trooper jobs to pass the same physical fitness tests.

So… let me make sure I’ve got this straight… the DoJ wants the tests to be separate but equal?

…Do they respond to the same situations, or are the females expected to be “covered” by male troopers in any possible violent crime? Are they expected to be equal in their ability to respond and control any/all situations, especially those which require the officer to perform physical activity? Is a suspect more likely to turn aggression towards an officer who was given a lower standard of competence? Should the citizens be forced to pay medical benefits for injuries sustained, or careers ended by someone who was allowed a lower standard of physical ability for the job? Equality is equality…even when it is inconvenient.

What’s next, are they going to expect white people and black people to get the same score to get the job too?
    Damn bible clinging racists sexists!
