Dude, Condi wants Secretary of Defense, not State. Look for her to try and off Rumsfeld before the ink settles on anything, and, knowing Rumsfeld, he won’t go down easy.

No, Rumsfeld is going to keep Defense for at least another year to clean up Iraq. I know there were some people trying to get Condi to run for Senate in 2006 (and the People’s Republic of California will finally be done with Feinstein.
