If your interested in the blogger phone conference with Bob Geldof, you can find the audio of it here (which includes many and my stunning questions and suggestions near the end of the hour).

First!!!
(eat my shorts)
Awesome music!!!! Way better than the Swedish Television One theme.
Definitely an exponential increase in funniness. Shorter, sweeter. Bravo! I’ll never look at a U-Haul dealer the same again.
Thanks for the “Doink Doink”.
🙂
I…um…really like…um… the new podcast and …um..think that…um…you guys did a….um…wonderful job…um…analyzing…um…FrankJ’s call to…um.. limbaugh.
sorry super nervous…come check out my new blog see not hard to plug yourself Frank
I see that you forgot to mention the 18th anniversary of ‘The Wall’ speech by the greatest president of the 20th century.
Great! Definitely more life in it. 🙂
Everyone came across much better; I’m guessing you’re all getting more comfortable with the podcasting. Now, as for the intro. The . . . bloggers . . . of . . . I . M . A . O . dot . u . s . . . like . . Frank . . J . . don’t need to be introduced in a slow voice with a several second gap between each name unless there’s an accompanying video of each of you turning toward the camera, crossing your arms, and giving a knowing smile like the local newscasters when they’re being introduced.
Thanks. The podcast got my week off to a good start. 🙂
Much better!
Who would have thought less Frank J and more Monkeys = more funny.
I feel so left out. My spleen hurts. So does my left kidney.
It will make the premiere of Crappy Bedtime Stories in #4 all that much more enjoyable.
El Jefe, “the Wall” was mentioned. Bob Geldof was in it.
Frank your a real funny guy, and kinda smart too…
I like right wing duck too (next time give him a Taco Bell coupon, half eaten burrito’s really Frank), but you gotta do something about Harvey’s attitude. May be you need to slap him around or something until he gets more with the program…
Did I mention Sahra K sounds really cute…
Harvey, you forgot to mention the Gunfight at the OK Corral, one of the greatest triumps of Republicans (the Earps) over Democrats (the Clantons and McLaureys). That’s right, Wyatt Earp was a Republican, and just like today, the worst criminals (in this case, the Cowboy gang) were Democrats.
It was… okay… Boxing a monkey was funny, I love the states in review so far, and Frank Discourse remains the best part of the show. I still look forward to next week and I have already voted at Podcast Alley
MUCH better!
Let’s see how the “Discourse” sounds without the Rush call….if you can just keep it spontaneous and such, like this podcast, it could work well….
Until I started listening to these, I never quite made the connection between SarahK & Texas. Whenever I hear her voice, I’m reminded of this lil’ critter.
LOL Blog Jones! She does sound something like Sandy.
Harvey, you idiot. The nuclear tests were done in Utah! (It was part of the government pressuring the Mormons to allow gambling in Ogden. How else did Moab get its name? Think about it!)
I think SarahK sounds much more natural during the roundtable than during the “reviews are fun”….just my opinion….
Much much much tighter. You guys sounded great and still off the cuff, funny. SarahK’s bit was much better as was “Frank Discourse” — Good Job!! The bit between Space Monkey and RWD was also good. I enjoy Harvey’s 50 States stuff too… and Harvey is a great “straight man” during the “Frank discourse” — really good timing. I also liked the repeated “breaks” — it made the whole podcast flow much better. (I guess we are all just too used to having commercials………….) Anyway, good job — and thanks!
rachel, I think that’s intentional. SaraK obviously plays the dumb blonde in her reviews, and acts normal otherwise.
Best.
Podcast.
Ever.
Adam Smith – father of American capitalism
Robert Smith – lead singer of The Cure
Hey, somebody got that joke. It was a South Park reference.
I saw that there was going to be a review of a sci-fi show and I new immediately that it would be Firefly. I somehow knew that you would be
Browncoats….Shiny!
In July Dark Horse Comics is releasing a 3 part comic named “Serenity”, based on the tv show “Firefly”.
Lovin’ the podcasts Y’all. Especially when Frank chimes in on SarahKs reviews and she yells at him to stop talking about lesbians. Dang! now I’m going to get yelled at for talking about lesbians! Great job so far on the 50 state tour Harvey! Why no Aquaman though? Afraid he’ll get the microphone wet and short it out? Oh yes and MORE HATE-FILLED LEFTY!
Great podcast guys! I’d like to play your call in to Rush on my podcast tomorrow. I loved the fisking! “To be honest…”. Awesome catch. It’s a real cover your ass line, and you guys made a great joke about it. The best 20 minutes I’ve spent listening to podcasting in days…
Love reading IMAO!
Listened to the mp3 stream up to, “The first thing you need to know about boxing a chimp…”
yawn bored.
Charlie,
Thanks for mentioning IMAO in your podcast. We appreciate it and hope to link to your podcast soon!
Remember to listen to the whole IMAO Podcast to hear how you can win a free t-shirt from us. I’m looking at more prizes in the future (and maybe some iPods)
I missed hearing more American Monkey. SpaceMonkey sounds like Matthew McCougney but with better timing. I also missed hearing more of what sounded like an “In My World” bit. Who does the voices? They were spot on. Other than that, it was great. We need MORE MONKEY! – Space variety, not chimp beating.
I spent my birthday on the 15th listening to all the podcasts. I was impressed. I’m new to this site. From what I’ve seen so far, FrankJ and his gang, as well as the commenters, are all top notch. It is now a daily addiction to check this place out. Keep it up Frank.
