I see a life that had worth. Beyond how long it lasted, beyond what she “could contribute to society”. A life with meaning beyond the suffering she experienced here on earth.
For others, she was a waste of time and money.
Forget all the other labels, it is this which defines the gulf between us and them.
Oh G-d, that’s so sad. I was following this story through you Frank, and then I saw the headline on msn tonight. What a tragic day for Mr.Torres and all who loved Susan and that precious baby. G-d bless them.
(As a side note…as much as I love a good ‘First!’, there are threads where it is totally inappropriate…this is one of them.)
