This was a great segment on immigration Drew Carey did. Maybe one day reason.tv could do one on illegal immigration.
Seriously, though, I’ve enjoyed a lot of Drew Carey’s reason.tv segments, but if its his position that illegal immigration is exactly the same as legal immigration, THEN MAKE THAT ARGUMENT. Don’t just ignore the difference between legal and illegal immigration and talk about the issue like you’re a dishonest used car salesman.

Maybe Drew should look at the quality of life and what kind of jobs illegal’s get vs. legal ones of the same background. Liberals and anyone claiming to be an American should be abhorred about the new American Slavery. Instead we feel soo bad about these peoples station in life. The open borders lobby make it out that at least it’s better than what they had in their own country. “Oh that poor hard working Undocumented, resident. He only makes $2.00 an hour. But at least he’s making more than the .32 cents an hour he’d make in Mexico.
That’s like me going to Ethiopia and pooping on a dinner plate and giving it to someone. “Oh look at that poor starving boy having to eat the excrement matter of an American. But at least he isn’t starving.”

I think Drew is a legal Canadian immigrant. I’ve talked to a couple legal immigrants and they hate the idea of amnesty for illegals because of the hard work they had to do to become citizens.

Drew was a Marine, but so was John Murtha, But I can’t find a leatherneck to admit that.
They want to claim the good people that were Marines like Drew Carey, Lee Marvin, R Lee Ermey & Bea Arthur. But they never want to accept responsiblity for John Murtha. But I wouldn’t either.
See again you’re not really thinking about who you’re talking about. Debate is hard, therefore liberals can not be bothered to do it honestly, its so much easier to take the easy, cheap and thus wrong way out.

i usually like drew’s video spots, but i had a similar thought about this one. its such that i can’t really disagree with any of his points, but i have to disagree with the overall inference…
