Although probably not the cartoonists intent, my interpretation of this cartoon is not that Romney wants to give people free bacon that’s paid for by the government.
That’s “Free Bacon” as in “Free Mumia” or “Free the Chicago 7”.
Romney is offering to unimprison everything that is good and right and just and beautiful about America.
As Moses would say: “Let my bacon go”.
It’s symbolism, it alluded to the fact that, as a Muslim, while Obama will freely give the country away…he’ll never freely give bacon away.
I just saw the most ridiculous article I’ve ever seen. Apparently Romney “cheated” at the debate by “lying about everything he’s said in the last year and a half.” Seriously, this idiot maintained that everything Romney said at the debate was a lie. That’s why Obama was so out of it, he just didn’t know where Romney was coming from.
Now I understand that most democrats need to be introduced to reality on an hourly basis but even for democrats this is amazing. The Liar in Chief stood before the American people and could not run on his record. He could not understand how Gov. Romney wasn’t charmed by him, why Romney didn’t understand that he, Obama was head and shoulders smarter than anyone else in the room. He really couldn’t believe that Romney nicely, called him what he is a pathological narcissistic liar. Obama wasn’t prepared, he didn’t bother to practice just like he couldn’t be bothered to attend intelligence briefings before the Egyptian and Libyan debacles. He thinks that his race and the fear of being labeled racist will get him elected this time. I hope he’s wrong.
If that were true, seanmahair – and Romney was lying – then Obama is a coward for not speaking the truth against him.
On the other hand, I think what we witnessed is very possibly Obama in his most “passive-aggressive” state during those two hours of being proven wrong and contradicted over and over. He can’t handle it and it was all he could do to suppress his anger.
With the expected bacon shortage next year, I think Romney giving away free bacon sounds brilliant.

Even a totally demented DUmmie monkey should know that if Romney told any lies at the debate that the fair and balanced (hah!) “journalists” at PMSDNC would have been all over it like a welfare queen on a free Obama phone. And, if not the faux “journalists” at PMSDNC, then the faux “journalists” at ABCCBSNBCNYTLATWaPoCNNPBS would have called Romney on it.
Perhaps we should announce October 4 as the day of the year when the hunting season on unicorns officially begins?
With some bacon and a bottle of Liberal’s Tears it’s quite delicious…
