Weren’t all the “nay” votes a credible alternative?
And if asked how a “nay” vote would fix perceived problems, why did “anything’s better than this half-cooked mess” become in-credible?
Sure they have, it’s called, “If you want insurance, go buy it, if you don’t want insurance, don’t buy it and if you don’t have it and you go to the hospital, you’re gonna get a bill which will probably be less then the insurance you didn’t buy”.
If all you believe in is the government when the government doesn’t do something than nothing happens. Reminds one of a tree falling in an empty forest.

That’s exactly the point! A doctor removed my appendix in 1962 and he still hasn’t replaced it with anything.
Another doctor removed my tonsils in 1957 and hasn’t replaced them, either.
