Facebook, Twitter, and news organizations including Agence France-Presse have joined a coalition of media and technology groups seeking to filter out online misinformation and improve news quality on social networks.
Great… looks like it’s back to waiting for the National Enquirer to break all the hard news stories.

So that’s what they’re calling Journolist these days.
I was wondering.
Users stared at the screen and said, ” ‘Sanitize’ Clause? Why?”
“Why are you taking down our URLs? Why?”
But, you know, that old bunch was so smart and so slick,
They thought up a lie, and they thought it up quick!
“Why, my sweet little L . . . users,” the fake sanitizers lied,
“There’s a slight point of view that’s not quite right for our side.”
“So we’re taking each homepage to our workshop, my dears.”
“We’ll fix it up there … unless it disappears.”
And their fib fooled each lib. Then they patted their heads,
And growled “Yes! ICANN!” and gave Hillary more meds.
Online “misinformation”? As in anything Obama and Hillary say?
I have a feeling that’s not what they mean.
So who decides what is and isn’t “misinformation”? Obama’s ministry of ‘truth”? Isn’t communism great?
If I write that cats bark and dogs meow, for some sort of rhetorical effect, is that going to be taken down and blocked as misinformation? Will I only be able to say O.J. was innocent, not guilty?
Wait a sec….
In that case, puns won’t make it through the filter either.
You may have heard the last from me.

If the cat is transpecies, he/she/it may bark if he/she/it feels like it but since you didn’t identify him/her/it in your posting of alleged ‘fact’ you are hereby pronounced guilty of misinforming and being transphobic and racist. As punishment, you will be placed on welfare and moved to Chicago.

In the end it will just be easier when they issue what we are allowed to say, so we won’t even mistakenly say something that isn’t their “truth”.
They already do and about 51% repeat it, word for word.
google: Hilary will “power through it”, there’s a video of at least 30 “news” people saying that exact phrase. I’ve never once heard anyone say that and suddenly……
