I don’t eat moldy bread, but I have been known to tear off the moldy part and eat the rest.
Quite accidentally ate moldy bread as a chile. [sic] Easily the most unpleasant taste I can remember.

Any hint of mold on bread or cheese and it is garbage. Any remaining milk is usually tossed one or two days before the expiration date.
