Last night a neighbor declared: ‘I believe they died because everyone who is supposed to care for the elderly in our society did not do it. Everyone passed the buck.’
Note how she says this without a bit of awareness. She is the Neighbor, you have elderly Neighbors. It is a serious cold snap. You are the one who should have been checking on them. Surely in her head she pays her taxes why should she have to talk with her old stinky neighbors.
Liberal politicians have this disease also, listen to them they always mention how they are going to make other peoples lives better. Government is to selfish and lazy by nature to ever make your lives better. Think of government as a delinquent Parent who shows up at holidays (elections) with a couple bucks a wrapped present and a whole bunch of promises. Yes I’ve seen this up-close both the real version and the metaphorical version of good trusting people hung out to dry by deadbeat governments and parents. Part of me wants to blame them for keeping trusting them but I just cant help but feel sorry for their ignorance and the manipulative self-interest that outsmarts them everytime.
