While Europe is constantly whining about us wanting to attack Iraq and accusing us of being unilogitudinal or something or other, Israel is pushing us to attack Iraq, and they are the ones who could actually be harmed by stirring up that hornets nest. Israel seems to almost be out Americaning Americans; when you’re under constant threat, you can’t afford to be a whiney little weenie like Europe. Only after many harsh battles are fought to ensure peace can the luxury of being a weenie be secured.
I don’t think Europe has a mentality that understands middle eastern politics. I don’t think the US has either. I think the Iraquis want Saddam displaced, I don’t think they know how to get the west to do it, a sthey can’t seem to do it themselves. Is bombing civilians the only solution?
Maybe Israel has deeper motives…like getting the US to kill their own sworn enemies, so the US can get richer. As we all know, when the Master gets richer, so does the laxy cat waiting to be fed. Israel is getting their cut out of this, I assure you, but whee is there man support? I don’t think displacing foreign governments and innocent people on both sides, is “American”. It’s bullying, and makes us hated, possibly even in greater deficit, because it takes so much capital to get their petro and government working to benefit us. Great…keep cheering Israel, your kitty treats are coming!
