I have an iPhone. I like it. But, there are some things you can’t do with an iPhone that you can do with Android.
One is to set a different default navigation system. Which I wish I could do.
I use Waze most of the time. Even though it has sent me to the wrong place, so has Google Maps and Apple Maps, negating any advantage there. The social features, such as others reporting objects on road or cars stopped beside the road, or the speed limit listed on the map, are handy. So, Waze is my go-to navigation app.
Good news for you if you’re an Android user and like Waze. You can set it as your default navigation app.
Now that you’ve navigated your way here, we’re ready for you to take charge. It’s Sunday Night Open Thread. You choose the topics.

My navigation system consists of me going to places I know how to get to.
I ran into this commercial on Youtube the other day and thought it had some merit. Well…at least enough merit to deserve a post at IMAO. ~ z

Did anyone else find Sharknado 5 hugely disappointing?
Navigon. The software is $30, includes maps, so you don’t need a cell signal to navigate (and I’ve been places where that matters). They make the in car navigation systems for all the german cars. It’s drawback is it is made for trips, so it isn’t going to help you find some obscure used bookstore (but restaurants, fuels stops, etc. yes). I will even tell you which lane(s) to be in at interchanges so you have time to get in them before you suddenly realize you’re being forced to exit.
