I like Willem Dafoe and Brad Johnson’s version in Flight of the Intruder.
These days it’s probably better to NOT take their advice…
Sinatra is Sinatra but this is Petula Clark’s song all the way. It’s her signature. Sinatra has “New York New York”.
I generally like the B-52s, but this is just… not their best.
SInatra may be Sinatra, but here he sounds way, way too much like Alan Sherman (of “Camp Grenada” fame, among others.)
Gotta give this to Petula.
